New ‘captain’ for Evergreen Shipping (Austria)

Reinhardt Fischer passes the last three months with Evergreen Shipping (Austria); Johnny Hsieh is to succeed him
 
A personnel change will shortly take place at the shipping agency Evergreen Shipping (Austria) GmbH. Reinhardt Fischer will retire by the end of this year. Johnny Hsieh, born Taiwanese, will succeed him in the function at the office in Vienna. The main task of this function is to defend the position of the Asian container shipping company in the Austrian market.
 
Evergreen Line is currently applying a program of fleet modernisation. The enterprise has placed orders for 45 newbuildings with several shipyards. In addition to 35 units of each 8,500 TEU capacity, ten large 13.000-TEU container vessels will be added to the fleet on the medium term. The Taiwanese shipping company operates currently 182 container vessels offering about 713,000 TEU capacity.
