New Country Manager at UPS Austria

Martin Seitz assumes the function of UPS Country Manager in Austria, Switzerland and Hungary

 

UPS appointed Martin Seitz the new Country Manager for Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. In this function the 46-year-old will be in charge of operative and business development as well as the strategic orientation of all UPS parcel activities in these three countries. He succeeds Nando Cesarone, who assumed the position of the Vice President of Operations, UPS Canada.

”I’m looking forward to my new challenge of taking over responsibility for the UPS markets Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. There is still a big development potential for us and our customers. I’m confident of being able to strengthen our business in these markets by innovative strategies“, Seitz says in a first statement.

After his studies, Martin Seitz started his career at UPS in 1994 as Management Trainee in Germany. Afterwards he was holding different management positions in the segments parcel operation, industrial engineering and business development in Germany. In 2004 he was appointed Professional Services Director for Europe. Since 2005 he was holding the position of Industrial Engineering Manager for Northern Europe. Seitz has a diploma in economics and chemistry. He is married and lives with his wife in Vienna.
