New duo takes on interim-management of Q Logistics

Q Logistics, the joint venture of ÖBB and Quehenberger Logistics, restructured its management just one year after its launch. Anna-Theresa Korbutt, formerly ÖBB, and Josef Berner, currently one of five regional managers, were appointed Interim Managers on 2 November.

Anna-Theresa Korbutt, graduated as Diplomkauffrau and former Head of Group Strategy and Business Development at ÖBB-Holding AG, has 12 years of experience in various areas of railway business in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and is appointed interim manager with responsibility for personnel, legal, strategy, financial processes, and system.

Josef Berner, currently Branch Manager for the Central Region of Q-Logistics GmbH, is responsible for sales, production, warehousing and facility management. He adds his many years of experience at companies including Schachinger, Kühne & Nagel and Quehenberger to the management board.

The previous managing directors Christian Braunstein, for sales and operations and Johann Gaida, commercial management, are resigning from their position. They did a lot of groundwork in the first phase of the integration, the company states.

Q Logistics is a leading Austrian logistics service provider for Groupage and Warehousing with 25 locations, 275,000 m² of storage – and handling spaces, and approximately 1,200 employees. The annual transport volume of the company – with its head office in Vienna – amounts to 3 million national and 700,000 international shipments. Q Logistics generated a turnover of EUR 260 million in 2016.
