New Nothegger block train connects Upper Austria and Switzerland

Recent start of operation of the intermodal service by Nothegger Transport Logistik between Wels and Dietikon in the canton of Zurich

As an action to transport large goods amounts environmentally friendly, Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH has launched a new regular block train service. The service offers regular rotations with capacity for about 30 truck loads from Wels to Dietikon, Switzerland and return. Tautliner swap bodies, 45 ft reefer containers and craneable semitrailers are accepted for transport.

Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH operates a great number of block train services throughout Europe – equalling more than 2,000 loads per week. The trains carry goods to Southern Italy, Germany, France, Austria and Finland. All goods ranging from bulk to frigo /thermo loads and conventional canvas-trailer loads can be accepted for transport.

The forwarding company Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH based in St. Ulrich am Pillersee, Tyrol was established in 1992 and has 15 international locations in five countries with a fleet of more than 700 vehicles.
