New owner for RFS specialist Rutges Cargo

Rutges Cargo joins Wallenborn Transports network

A change in ownership is to take place at Rutges Cargo, based in Amsterdam. The Wim Bosman Group disposes of the European-wide acting special provider of air cargo transportations on the road to the Luxemburg-based Wallenborn Transports-company. The acquisition consolidates the latter named company’s position in the market segment of road feeder services for airlines, freight forwarding companies, logistics service providers and large-scale industries. Rutges Cargo is the second company acquisition of Wallenborn Transports within a few days. At the beginning of the month the takeover of Haugsted Air Cargo Services was settled.

Since 1999 Rutges Cargo was a company of the Wim Bosman Group. The company has own locations in Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt and London where it operates road feeder services with regular departures to 100 airports in Europe. This is also the core business of Wallenborn Transports from Luxemburg. Established in 1920 the enterprise currently operates a fleet of 300 trucks and 450 trailer. The network comprises locations in Luxemburg, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Bucharest.
