New Rhenus Revival location in Baden-Württemberg

Joint terminal for the CIS specialist Rhenus Revival and Rhenus Freight Logistics in Greater Stuttgart

Rhenus Revival GmbH, a subsidiary of the Rhenus Group with its international operations, has moved its Stuttgart branch to Fellbach. The specialist freight forwarder for traffic to the CIS, the Baltic states and Central Asia, will pool its business activities in Baden-Württemberg at the Rhenus Freight Logistics business site about five kilometres north-east of Stuttgart.

The company provides procurement and distribution logistics across Europe at the 8,000 m² terminal, which has more than 100 loading gates. “As a result of the move to Fellbach, we can benefit from the compact network within the Rhenus group. The new business site offers us improved opportunities to handle project and groupage freight traffic, because the site is directly linked to the Rhenus Freight Logistics European breakbulk freight network,” says Uwe Bierfreund, giving the reasons for the move. He is responsible for the business activities of Rhenus Revival in Fellbach as road product manager.

Rhenus Revival will use Fellbach along with its bases in Frankfurt/Main, Hilden, Bielefeld, Velten and Grossschirma to consolidate regular breakbulk cargo traffic to the Commonwealth of Independent States. In cooperation with the Revival branches in Eastern Europe the company offers its customers transport and logistics services including customs clearance in Russia.
