Norbert Dentressangle secures three-year deal with Daikin

Originally appointed by Daikin UK in 2005, Norbert Dentressangle receives containerised product from Daikin’s manufacturing facilities in Belgium, Czech Republic and the Far East and is responsible for the unloading and palletisation, storage, picking and distribution of products to customers throughout the UK and Ireland. The company is also responsible for the line-haulage operation from the Port of Felixstowe.

Norbert Dentressangle also provides Daikin with a range of value-added services including pre-delivery customer calls, two-man deliveries, the provision and operation of heavy lifting equipment and removal and disposal of packaging. It is also responsible for managing the delivery of aftermarket parts to both engineers and customers, primarily via parcel carrier.

To accommodate growth in Daikin’s business, under the new contract, Norbert Dentressangle will relocate the operation into 80,000 sq ft of space in its new shared-user facility in Aylesford, Kent.
