Nuremberg DTC forwarding allies with Hellmann East Europe

DTC and Hellmann East Europe form cooperation-partnership to offer customers one-stop transport chain and management of all customs formalities

Deutsche Transport Compagnie Erich Bogdan GmbH & Co. KG (DTC) and Hellmann East Europe have agreed to form a cooperation-partnership for more efficient implementation of transports to Eastern Europe. The objective is to offer customers the entire transport chain from a single source. In addition, all customs formalities will be managed by request.

Immediately regularly transports start from DTC’s Nuremberg „hub“ to Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, in the Stan countries, Ukraine and to Iran and Iraq. In addition to full and less than full load services, the two companies also offer comprehensive general cargo and part load transport in the CIS and the Baltic countries. Loading schedules with coordinated transit times through direct or gateway services ensure secure and flexible transfer of goods.

Roland Kuhn, managing director of DTC, sees the collaboration as an important added value for the customers: „With Hellmann East Europe we have found a reliable partner with great expertise, with whom we can offer all services along the transport chain.“ The partners provide the complete range of services from delivery of the shipments to delivery take over. At the DTC location in Nuremberg, the two companies have formed a working group, which is responsible for the postcode area 9.

Roland Kuhn sees a big advantage in the management of all customs formalities. Thus, the customers can concentrate on their core tasks and leave the often complicated processing to Hellmann’s and DTC’s experts. The portfolio includes also requesting of certificates and the entire communication and control of the flow of information with the customs authorities.
