Österreichische Post AG increases holding in Bulgaria
Österreichische Post is holding 51 per cent of the share capital of the Bulgarian letter post provider M&BM Express
As of 1 April 2013 Österreichische Post AG has increased its holding in M&BM Express from previously 26 per cent to 51 per cent. Thus the enterprise benefits from a call option, which has been agreed with the entry last year. There is one more option providing the take over of another 25 per cent of M&BM Express in 2014 and hence increase the holding to up to 76 per cent.
M&BM Express was established in 2005 and is today’s N° 1 of alternative letter post providers in the Bulgarian market, which has been completely liberalised since 2011. M&BM Express is also the market leader in the segment of hybrid mail, with consignments being sent to four printing centres, printed, enveloped and delivered.
