OOCL upgrades its “Scandinavian Express Service“

Container line OOCL offers 20 per cent more capacity and ads the Finish port of Kotka to the schedule of the “Scandinavian Express Service

Operated with two rotations, the Scandinavian Express Service“ (SBX) of the OOCL container shipping line is available in a modified and extended version since the start of this week. Adding a sixth 1,000 TEU-vessel, the company increases the total capacity by 20 per cent. Moreover the Finish seaport of Kotka was introduced into the schedule of the SBX2 rotation.

In its new schedule OOCL’s SBX1 service calls the ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp, St. Petersburg, Gdynia, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Gdynia, St. Petersburg and Rotterdam. The schedule of the SBX2 rotation covers Hamburg, St. Petersburg, Kotka, Rauma, Gavle, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Klaipeda, St. Petersburg and Hamburg. In a press release OOCL explains the modified schedule and the increase in capacity as its commitment to the growing Baltic markets for container traffic.
