Palletline’s redeveloped European network takes off

The first few weeks of 2011 have seen a dramatic upsurge of business for Palletline’s new European service.

The new Palletline Europe service links every corner of the Eurozone, with Palletline now able to provide quality services to thirty countries, adding significant value to any supply chain.

Alongside popular destinations including France, Spain, Germany and Scandinavia, Palletline Europe also provides solutions for more distant locations such as Slovenia and Lithuania.

Whether a single pallet to Paris or pallets in Romania requiring collection and delivery back to the UK, Palletline Europe offers fast and reliable services, with consignments tracked throughout their journeys.

The new service is supported by the organisation’s significant recent investment in technology, which has successfully opened the doors to the provision of wider 3PL and freight exchange services into Europe.

Palletline Europe provides customers with track & trace systems, as well as processes for instant communication of accurate proof of delivery information.

Palletline has also developed an instant quote system to ensure customers get fast and accurate pricing information, automatically calculating the optimum specification based on per pallet, volumetric or loading metre parameters to match the most competitive quote to each individual consignment.

Palletline began redeveloping its European strategy early in 2010, working closely with member companies DSV, CS Ellis (Group) and Europa Worldwide Logistics, all of whom have well-established knowledge and experience of the challenges presented by European distribution.

Providing a tailored service for both hauliers and end users, and optimising the benefits of Palletline’s extensive member company network, the European service also makes full use of subsidiary company Palletline London as the organisation’s European gateway. This gives European hauliers the option of more cost efficient solutions, using the gateway to access the Palletline network, rather than using their own vehicles for small consignment deliveries across the UK.

Palletline’s European service carries no hidden costs in the shape of surcharges, currency or fuel fluctuations.

Accessible to business and commerce across the UK and Ireland via the established member company network, the new service is already set to exceed initial estimates in terms of pallet volumes.
