Planning win for Dorset warehouse
A new 53,600ft2 warehouse has secured planning approval near Bournemouth in Dorset.
Haycock Holdings has won permission to develop the 2.37-acre former Travis Perkins storage yard on the Ferndown Industrial Estate, Construction is due to start this summer, with completion scheduled for March 2023. To be known as Ferndown 50, the unit will be jointly marketed by Vail Willams and Realest.
Ferndown 50 has a targeted energy performance certificate of A and will have five dock and two level access doors and an 11.75m eaves height.
Adrian Whitfield, Director of Industrial & Logistics at Realest, said: “This project, will deliver much-needed, high-quality urban logistics space in this location.”
