Portomanagement.at helps saving postal charges

Portorabatt.at reduces mail charges by up to 11 per cent for small and medium enterprises with low mailing volumes

The Portomanagement.at GmbH helps its customers to profit from cost advantages through consolidation of mail shipments under its brand Portorabatt.at. With this service the private company addresses mainly small and medium enterprises with mailing volumes too low to benefit from discounts on mail charges. Portorabatt.at optimises mailing charges for letters, advertising mails, parcels and papers, thus allowing its customers to save up to 11 per cent, as reads a press release of the company. Portorabatt.at includes collection of the post at the customer, consolidating the mail volumes of several senders and bringing them on the same day to a distribution centre of the Österreichische Post AG, who remains in charge of final delivery as before.

In 2012 Portomanagement.at GmbH collected about 15 million mailings at their customers and brought to the Post. “This year we expect up to 20 million mailings to be collected, consolidated and dispatch this big delivery at the Post on behalf of our customers. Through clever structuring of the mail flows we can rach a discount of 6.5 per cent for a standard mailing“, explain Gerhard Divischek and Werner Tscheppe, managing directors of Portomanagement.at. Companies using the online tool Portomanager.at, can save also the franking machine, which means another 3 Cent per mail. In total customers can save up to 11 per cent in mail charges.
