Positive development with Dachser in 2008
| Growing staff figures at logistician Dachser The German family-run enterprise Dachser created more than 1,000 new jobs in the fiscal year 2008. This means Dachser employed 18,175 persons at 305 locations, of which 10,500 persons worked in Germany. The total transport volume amounting to 43.3 million consignments and a total weight of 29.1 million tons was also positive. The annual report, which was group-oriented instead of the former consolidated report on segmental developments, showed a consolidated gross turnover of EUR 3.6 billion (non-consolidated: EUR 3.9 billion). In 2007 this item amounted to EUR 3.2 billion (consolidated) and EUR 3.5 billion (non-consolidated) respectively.
