PS-Team Germany signs franchise contract with Hödlmayr
Hödlmayr takes over franchise of PS-Team Germany’s “Fleet Services“ in the Austrian market
Hödlmayr Logistics GmbH has signed a franchise contract with PS-Team Deutschland GmbH & Co.KG. Based on the PS-Team business model, which had been successful in Germany, the vehicle logistics enterprise from Schwertberg starts implementing these “Fleet Services“ in Austria.
In the first line it is about process and system solutions for vehicle fleets. This includes process and system solutions for returns of commercially used vehicles, European-wide securing of ownership rights for commercially used vehicles and machines, digital contract and vehicle documents as well as inventories for banks, leasing companies and fleets, electronic data storage, vehicle protocols via handheld or digital pen and innovative vehicle logistics.
Rolf Dittrich is in charge of establishing and expanding this new service portfolio. The new member of the Hödlmayr company has been working in the automotive industry for more than 30 years and was lately holding the function of the operating manager for Budget Autovermietung in Austria and Switzerland.
Hödlmayr has recently carried out a market survey in the automotive sector with more than 50 reference customers from different industries. The result was positive. About a quarter of these companies shows interest in Fleet Services products and can imagine using these products in the future. Andreas Sundl, Managing Director Hödlmayr Logistics: “Outsourcing means not only cost reduction, but also motivation to improve quality and for innovations. The companies are concentrating on their core business and charge specialists with time consuming services.“ The long-term target is to expand the “Fleet Services“ products to more countries where Hödlmayr International is present.
PS-Team headquartered in Walluf in the Rhine-Main region has been attending to all tasks relating to commercially used vehicles in the past 25 years. In addition to big financers, car manufacturers and vehicle fleets, the enterprise with more than 190 employees attends to about 70 per cent of the leasing companies and vehicle renters, as well as car traders and insurance companies. In its own archive the service provider stores more than two million vehicle documents with up to 8,000 single movements per day and coordinates about 510,000 vehicle registrations per year. Each year 70,000 vehicles are delivered and 110,000 vehicle transactions are activated by forwarding. Moreover PS-Team keeps 100,000 car keys and maintains the world’s only fully automated minting system solution for registration plates with online-connection.
