Q Logistics appoints new Branch Manager in Enns
As of 2nd October 2017, Gerhard Füreder (52) assumed responsibility for the branch office Enns in the Q Logistics network. In this executive function, he is – among other tasks – in charge of the expansion of national and international groupage activities in Upper Austria and contract logistics in the Multipark Enns. Gerhard Füreder reports to Josef Berner, the Regional Manager in charge of the Central Region Austria.
Gerhard Füreder, who was born in Upper Austria, started his career after having completed an apprenticeship in a forwarding company in 1983, and has been working in various different management functions in overland transport and logistics ever since. During the last 11 years, he was Head of the branch office Upper Austria at Gebrüder Weiss.
Q Logistics Enns, is the central network hub with regular groupage transports to almost all European countries. The Austrian logistics service provider for groupage and warehousing with its head office in Vienna, 25 locations, 275,000 m² of storage – and handling spaces, and approximately 1,200 employees moves an annual transport volume of about three million national and 700,000 international shipments. Q Logistics achieved a turnover of EUR 260 million in 2016, and is a joint venture of Quehenberger Logistics and the ÖBB-Holding AG.
