Quehenberger Logistics appoints Robert Hartmann Director Oceanfreight

Prominent new member of Quehenberger Air + Ocean sees outstanding market opportunities with individual full range solutions

Robert Hartmann (39) was appointed Director Oceanfreight at Quehenberger Air + Ocean, the specialist for air and ocean freight within the Augustin Quehenberger Group. In this function he will be in charge of the entire oceanfreight organisation of the Salzburg-based logitics enterprise.

The perspectives Quehenberger Air + Ocean offer him, apparently convinced Robert Hartmann as a proven expert for oceanfreight. “His move is actually a return, since he has started the training for logisticians at Quehenberger and then made a remarkable career,” said Christian Fürstaller, CEO and co-owner of Augustin Quehenberger Group, on August 10 at the company headquarters in Straßwalchen.
Born in Salzburg, Robert Hartmann started his career in 1993 with the former R. Quehenberger Spedition, where he made an apprenticeship as forwarder. In 1997 he moved to DB Schenker in Bergheim, where he had been working with only a short interruption until now, and had lately been holding the function of the Managing Director and Branch Manager.
