Roberson Wine picks NetDespatch for online order fulfilment
Roberson Wine has selected NetDespatch’s cloud-based shipping and data management platform for its online order fulfilment process.
The system connects Roberson Wine’s online order management system with the APC Overnight parcel delivery network. All orders from the website are automatically notifying the local APC Overnight depot that that packages are ready for collection. Customer service staff can view despatched items and track them online.
Ben Greene, online department manager for Roberson, said: “Prior to implementing NetDespatch, all the order information had to be re-keyed at point of dispatch. This was not only time consuming but we also ran the risk of input errors causing problems.”
Roberson Wine has a shop on Kensington High Street as well as its own e-commerce website, and it delivers more than 5,000 consignments a year throughout the UK as well as to a number of overseas destinations.
