LBASE logistics solution of Imtech brings „forwarding services from the bird’s eye perspective“ to Quehenberger Logistics:

The Salzburg-based forwarding company Quehenberger Logistics boosts the use of Imtech’s LBASE logistics solution for transport management. From 2012 the roll-out of the current release is scheduled for 16 countries. The enterprise has been counting on LBASE since 2005. The transport management system (TMS) is currently used in four countries. From 2012 it shall be expanded to 16 countries. „We decided to use LBASE as it can display our complete company structure – we call it bird’s eye perspective. This gives absolute transparency of all segments“, Christian Braunstein, Managing Director Quehenberger Logistics explains. This is also a profit to customers: scheduled day deliveries and exact delivery times can be guaranteed. Recipients are able to trace the shipments online at any time. From order confirmation and disposition to the execution of the transport and accounting many things are handled automatically.

LBASE is a client/server application with open architecture based on oracle databanks. A number of basics can be adjusted to individual requirements. Many ports for customs and financial systems, ERP- and CRM-systems and DFÜ simplify data exchange. The software is currently developed. Climate protection is a big issue for the future. Quehenberger Logistics is a specialist for network and contract logistics in Austria and eastern Europe. The medium-sized, owner-managed company was integrated into the newly established Augustin Quehenberger Group in 2010. Quehenberger Logistics has ten branches in Austria and more than 50 locations in eastern Europe. In Austria the company handles 6,000 general cargo sh9ipments per day.
