Raben group invests in Hungary

Raben Hungary accelerates transport operations through modern cross-dock warehouse in Dunaharaszti near Budapest

The increasing number of shipments motivated the Raben group to make an investment in Hungary. The logistics operator started its first investment into a logistics facility in Dunaharaszti near Budapest. In the second quarter of 2012, Raben Hungary will be able to make use of the modern cross-dock warehouse. The new facility will be added to the 27.000 m2 high storage warehouse, which the company uses right now in Dunaharaszti. The investment totals EUR 2.2 million.

"The new cross dock will have over 4.000 m² and 42 docks. It will improve our processes, which of course means better services for our customers. Our transport operations will be even faster and more accurate." – says Szabolcs Czifrik, the Managing Director of Raben Logistics Hungary. In addition to modern surveillance systems to ensure the safety of the goods, the new cross-dock will have an effective fire protection system.

In Hungary Raben offers warehousing, international and domestic groupage, LTL and FTL, as well as air and sea transportation services for its customers. Raben Group has been present in Hungary since 2010.
