Raben Ukraine now operating on behalf of Electrolux
Household appliances group Electrolux selects Raben Ukraine as partner to provide customised logistics services
Raben Ukraine has won a 3-years contract with Electrolux. The logistics company gives this project the full range of warehousing services in ist distribution centre in Brovary, Kiev region. This includes customs clearance and distribution of Electrolux products throughout Ukraine. The agreement involves the supply chain for practically the whole product range of Electrolux Group, including products of the Electrolux group, Zanussi and AEG-Electrolux. "According to the agreement, we will provide each month a few thousand square meters of warehouse area for several suppliers of Electrolux, which improves the complete delivery process. The use of Internet applications will greatly simplify and speed up the processing of orders. Moreover we are developing a common control system of product movement from producers to end consumers with the ability to control the goods on every stage", says Ruslan Perverziev, Logistics Director Raben Ukraine. Raben Ukraine was established in 2003 and renders a wide range of logistics services from contract logistics to storage, international road transport, customs handling and bonded warehouse, national distribution, area-spanning logistics solutions for fresh goods (from +2° to +6°C) and sea/air freight transport. The enterprise has more than 600 employees and operates about 50,000 m² warehousing area as well as 700 transport vehicles.
