DHL Express enhances its service range in Austria
DHL Express is enhancing its 9 am/12 am service to more postal codes and by a new delivery option until 10.30 am with DHL Express in Austria
DHL Express enhances and accelerates its product range for shipping of urgent consignments in Austria. Under the motto „Schneller mehr Österreich“ („more rapid – more Austria“) the previously offered express delivery times before 9 am and before 12 am are available for more postal codes. In addition the new service with delivery before 10.30 am is available since 1 April 2011. DHL Express can now reach about 80 per cent of all business-relevant addresses in Austria before 9 am and even more before midday. In case the promised delivery fails, customers are paid back their money – for the first time in Austria. The DHL DOMESTIC EXPRESS services all national destinations before 12 am. For less urgent consignments DHL DOMESTIC EXPRESS 6 pm can be booked. This express offensive is born by investments at the amount of EUR 5 million at the company headquarters in Guntramsdorf. “The previously separated divisions for day – and time exact delivery were melted into one uniform business process. This is a great progress, as previously two couriers sometimes served the same customer“, explains managing director DHL Express Austria, Ralf Schweighöfer. DHL Express will make further investments in 2011for customers in need of time and day exact international express shipping solutions. Booking and processing will be unified. „This means: We will reduce the ways for our customers. Customer service, administration and accounting for time exact products and the day exact shipments DHL ECONOMY SELECT within Europe will also be unified as it belongs together.“, says Ralf Schweighöfer.
