Rail Cargo Group launches Minga Shuttle

New intermodal service of Rail Cargo Group offers five weekly rotations on the Koper/Villach/Munich-route
 
The Rail Cargo Group (Vienna) is taking a further step to optimise their offering by establishing an intermodal transport service on the Port of Koper/Villach/Munich Riem route. The new product named Minga Shuttle offers five weekly rotations between the Slovenian seaport and the south-German metropolis.
 
A stopover at the Villach terminal allows loading of additional goods and hence increase capacity utilisation. On demand, the new rail product includes also the organisation of additional services such as customs clearance, trucking, storage, loading and unloading of containers. “We offer a high-frequency, long-distance rail service, which is an attractive opportunity to shift traffic from road to rail, and links Europe’s economic centres like ports, industrial regions and conurbations ideally“, says Erik Regter, CEO Rail Cargo Group.
