Roger Anderson appointed UK IT Director of Schenker UK
Greater importance on IT issues as growth continues Schenker Limited has appointed Roger Anderson to the newly created position of IT Director. With the growth and expansion of the company’s UK-wide operation over the last two years the role of IT and its strategic importance to the company has continued to gather pace. The UK Board of Directors therefore believed that the time was right to give a higher profile to this area of the business. Reporting directly to CFO, Ruediger Muench, and based at Heathrow, Anderson will be focusing on enhancing service delivery in line with the expectations of the company’s customers through implementing IT solutions that underpin the business strategy and direction. He was previously IT Infrastructure Manager UK and EMEA for BAX Global and more recently has been working as part of the DB Schenker Corporate IT and Infrastructure services team.
