SAECS-shipping companies start regular reefer service
New regular reefer service from South Africa to Europe operated by SAECS shipping companies Launching a regular reefer service, the members of the SAECS South Africa Europe Container Service are responding to the strong demand for shipping capacities for perishables from South Africa to Europe. The first departure of the Reefer Exress (REX) will start on 15 February in Cape Town. The European ports of call are Rotterdam (Uniport) and Tilbury. From February to August the REX service offers departures in a 2-weeks-rhythm. They will be operated with vessels of the SAECS shipping companies; this means DAL Deutsche Afrika-Linien, Safmarine, Maersk Line and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines. |
