TFG Transfracht: Change in the management board

Kerstin Corvers and Rainer Gödde support Christina Arndt with managing TFG Transfracht activities

TFG Transfracht announced personnel changes on top management level. At the start of 2013 Kerstin Corvers joined the management board, suceeding Ralf-Günter Kloß as manager of the operations resort. Kloß had filled this function in addition to his function as spokesman of the management board of DB Intermodal Services GmbH.Rainer Gödde is in charge of the finance and controlling resort since the start of the year. Falk Holtz, managing director since 2010, left TFG Transfracht by the end of 2012 and assumes other taskts within the DB group.

Kerstin Corvers (44) is an expert for combined transport and has many years of experience in seaport hinterland transport of DB Intermodal Services GmbH. As an authorised signatory she has been heading the equipment management. Gödde (45) started his career in 1995 with the Deutsche Bahn and has been managing the controlling and processes unit since 2011.

Christina Arndt (43), in charge of the marketing and sales resort of TFG Transfracht since early September 2012, additionally took over the function of the chairwoman of the management effective from 1 January.TFG Transfracht based in Frankfurt/Main is Europe’s market leader in containerised seaport hinterland transport from the ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Their customers are international shipping companies and forwarders. About 12,000 connections are handled through the AlbatrosExpress network with more than 19 terminals. Daily transport capacity is 4,800 TEU. As an enterprise of DB Mobility Logistics AG, managed by the European cargo railway DB Schenker Rail, TFG Transfracht generates annual sales of about EUR 250 million.
