Thai Cargo returns to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Thai Cargo’s freighter service flies from Amsterdam to Bangkok in a weekly frequency
 
Last weekend was marked by Thai Cargo’s regular freighter service with Bangkok returning to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. After an absence of around 18 months the Asian airline added the airport of the Dutch capital again to its freighter network. A brandnew Boeing 747F calls Schiphol once weekly. This increases Thai Airways’ air freight capacity ex Amsterdam of to around 200 tonnes per week. The new liner service covers the following route: Bangkok, Madras, Amsterdam, Bangkok.
 
Including Thai Cargo, Amesterdam Airport Schiphol is now called by 22 freighter services. With a cargo throughput of 1.5 million tonnes the Dutch airport was ranked third among Europe’s cargo airports and N° 17 worldwide in 2011.
