TORQUE Appoints Paul Boland to Head of Freight

Logistics company Torque, is pleased to announce Paul Boland has been appointed to Head of Freight.

Boland’s career with Torque spans over 10 years and this latest move will see him take responsibility for all business communication with imports, exports, air/sea and courier services. Whilst managing the current customer base, Boland will also take charge of the architecture and implementation of Torque’s unique shipment/purchase order management system, which will be rolled out across Europe, Asia and ISC later in the year.

Over the last 10 years, Boland has worked across all aspects of imports for a wider and varied account base including Cotton Traders and George at Asda, whilst also expanding the client base of the company and taking the department from a port to port operation to true supply chain management capabilities.

Paul Boland, commented: “I am absolutely delighted to be given this opportunity. I am looking forward to the challenge of driving Torque’s freight function into the future.”
