Trinity Mirror plc renews five year contract with CEVA

CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has announced that it has renewed a five year multi-million euro contract to provide delivery services for one of the UK’s largest newspaper publishers, Trinity Mirror plc.
 
Under the continued agreement, which has been running for the past 10 years, CEVA will make around 33,000 deliveries of the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror to Trinity Mirror’s wholesaler network each year.
 
In the UK, CEVA is one of the market leaders in publishing and media logistics for the newspaper, book, printing, stationery, paper and packaging industries. CEVA delivers over 20,000 tons of newsprint per week, 364 days a year, to over 100 wholesalers nationwide.
 
Under the renewed contract, CEVA will be responsible for the distribution of national titles from Trinity Mirror’s print centres in Watford and Oldham to the company’s wholesale customer base across England and Wales.
