Turkish Airlines added two new European destinations to its global freighter flight network. Since recently the Airbus A310-304F jets (about 35 tonnes air freight capacity per flight) are setting their course from Istanbul to Vienna and Minsk once per week. The scheduled service from Vienna takes off for its flight to Istanbul on Mondays 8 a.m. The flight from Minsk to Istanbul leaves Byelorussia’s capital on Wednesdays 5.40 p.m. local time. In Istanbul there are feeder services available to the global flight network.

Turkish Airlines counts among the fastest growing airlines. Their fleet consisting of 185 aircraft – including six freighters of the series Airbus A310-304F (4) and Airbus A330-200F (2) approaches currently 214 destinations worldwide. Turkish Cargo is in charge of marketing the air freight capacities. Last year 386,000 tonnes of air cargo and mail were transported worldwide.
