Lagermax AED Romania optimises its transport and logistics service offer

For Lagermax AED Romania s.r.l. the business year 2009 was marked by optimisation and expansion of the facilities for national/international transport and logistics services. New logistics facilities started operation at the locations in Arad and Bucharest. They consolidate the network for forwarding services from Central Europe to the Black Sea.

The new logistics terminal at the Zona Industriala Nord-Vest-Arad in Arad covers 5,000 sq.m. of warehousing and 750 sq.m. office space. On a 1,000 sq.m.-area Lagermax AED Romania operates its own bonded warehouse. The location in Arad at the Hungaro-Romanian border serves as a gateway for international general, part and full load traffics to different international regions. Moreover Lagermax AED offers national distribution from there in 24/48 hours. International connecting services to Greece, Serbia and towards the Near East are available as well.

Lagermax AED Romania has moved to a new domicile at the Equest Logistic Centre – Communa Dragomiresti Vale. in the west of the Romanian capital Bucharest. The company operates a logistics terminal there, which covers 3,200 sq.m. storage and 450 sq.m. office area and is equipped with 6 docking ramps for trucks. The services are ranging from national/international overland transport with scheduled connections to Budapest, Prague and Austria to air/sea freight and warehousing logistics.

The S.C. Lagermax AED Romania s.r.l. location in Constanza completes the Romanian network of the Lagermax Group. Positioned directly at the Black Sea metropolis, the logistics terminal covers 5,000 sq.m. of warehousing capacitiy, combined with additional services such as sea/airfreight,warehousing and express logistics or value added services.
