Unilever charges KN with additional tasks in Southeastern Europe
Kuehne + Nagel Romania relieves Unilever Supply Chain Company AG (USCC) now also with co-packing services
The Unilever Supply Chain Company AG (USCC) has expanded its cooperation with Kuehne + Nagel in Southeastern Europe. Since recently the transport and logistics service provider is also in charge of service functions in the field of co-packing activities. To this end KN has made a considerable investment in the acquisition of automation technology. Kuehne + Nagel has been managing warehousing operations for Unilever’s home and personal care product range in Southeastern Europe since 2010. A newly commissioned facility in Ploiesti is used as a hub to service the countries Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo. Quelle: LogEastics |
