VIA BREMEN starts as a brand for location marketing

Port and logistics industry of the Land Bremen launches VIA BREMEN – a control centre for national and international marketing

 

With the brand name VIA BREMEN the port and logistics industry of the Land Bremen will present itself on a national and international scale. This was announced by Klaus Platz, managing director VIA BREMEN e.V., at the Logistics Day 2011 in Bremerhaven. The new brand VIA BREMEN is targeted to profile and strengthen the location in the competition. This means increasing the name recognition, particularly in Asia’s growth markets, as well as a clear differentiation from the competition of the Hamburg-Antwerp range.

VIA BREMEN defines itself as a request of national and international customers to use the performance capacity of the north German site and control goods flows from and to Germany and Europe via Bremen. The association will fill the position of a company-independent platform for coordination, information and communication.

VIA BREMEN is born by reputable actors of the port and logistics site bremen. These include also the City of Bremen Senator for Economic Affairs and Ports, bremenports, BLG Logistic Group, WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen, Bremische Hafenvertretung, Kieserling Holding, Commercial Chamber Bremen as well as the Industrial and Commercial Chamber Bremerhaven. Moreover the City Airport Bremen and BIS Bremerhaven as well as GVZe joined the association as new members.
