Vos Logistics completes restructuring

 
Vos Logistics feels able to cope with current challenges

In a press release the Management of the Dutch Vos Logistics Group announced having successfully completed the operational restructuring launched in the fourth quarter of 2008. The company has further reduced its own motorised fleet from 1,700 to 1,300 vehicles; cut the number of permanent staff to 2,300 FTE’s and strengthened the guarantee capital. The company feels now able to respond effectively to the challenges of the difficult year 2009, as CEO Frank Verhoeven announced in the release.

Vos Logistics acts as a specialist for bulk and volume transportations in Europe. The group’s network consists of 30 locations in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Great Britain, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania with a total warehouse capacity of 200,000 square metres.
