Wincanton acquires ELI Group from Koblenz
With the takeover of the ELI Transport GmbH and the ELI Lagerhaus GmbH in Koblenz (Germany), the Wincanton Group is taking another step towards enforcing the network for general cargo traffic in Germany and Europe. The transaction is subject to the approval by the German competition authority. Wincanton now has own operations at 42 locations in Germany. Since its establishment in 1972, the ELI Group evolved into a full service provider of forwarding and logistics services. In addition to services in national and international general cargo traffic, the portfolio comprises activities in the fields of full load truck traffic, air-/seafreight, warehouse logistics and value added services.
