Winners of annual eyefortransport European 3PL Awards announced at the Europe’s largest 3PL Summit
The winners for this year’s eyefortransport European 3PL Awards were announced yesterday, and were celebrated at a reception during the eyefortransport’s 9th Annual 3PL Summit held at the Hilton Hotel in Antwerp, Belgium.
Each year the eyefortransport 3PL Awards aim to recognise those 3PLs that continuously deliver excellence in logistics operations and superior service to their customers. The nominees are shortlisted by a panel of industry experts, and the winners are then voted on and decided by European 3PL customers – the manufacturers and retailers who depend upon and work with logistics service providers every day.
As such, these awards take on a special significance, and the winners can feel confident in the knowledge that their customers have chosen them as best-of-breed partners in supply chain excellence.
The awards ceremony was hosted by eyefortransport, and was followed by a reception where senior management from the winning 3PLs, the nominees and their customers celebrated the winners. Representatives from over 40 major 3PLs, as well as Heads of Supply Chain for major 3PL users were in attendance.
“This has been a challenging year for 3PLs and their customers – the economic and business environments continue to bring new challenges and opportunities for both sides,” said Katharine O’Reilly, Executive Director of eyefortransport. “The awards this year represent customers’ continuing faith in the ability of their 3PLs to deliver the service they need both during times of difficulty and boom times. It’s an honour to preside over these awards.”
