XPO Logistics awarded Beko transport contract

XPO Logistics has won a contract with Beko which will see it provide transport services for the home appliance company across the UK .

The contract will see XPO handle Beko products including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, cookers, dishwashers, and freezers marketed under the Beko, Grundig, Leisure, Flavel, Blomberg, and Zenith brands.

Supplemental capacity for peak periods will be sourced from XPO’s broader fleet and carrier partners.

Andrew Parkin, operations director at Beko, said: “XPO has the scale and expertise necessary to handle our continued growth in this important market. Their team orchestrated a smooth transition to a solution that is consistently responsive to our retailers.”

XPO has customised an end-to-end transport system for Beko, using a fleet with in-cab technology for tracking and proof-of-delivery.
