Yankee Candle streamlines European deliveries
Yankee Candle is streamlining its delivery operations and has chosen TNT Express and Palletways to provide services in Europe.
It said moving to new suppliers TNT Express and Palletways, each a specialist in their respective fields, was a significant progression for Yankee Candle.
President John Fontana said: “Having all consignments managed with the capacity to track and trace all shipments across Europe, from collection to delivery, was our principle consideration. TNT Express’ service offering is a perfect fit for us to ensure our customer delivery and reliability is first class.”
TNT Express is responsible for non-pallet deliveries for the UK, Ireland and into Europe, servicing the thousands of Yankee Candle retailers.
The company will deliver direct to retailers through its network of more than 70 depots and hubs, with 3,500 vehicles covering the UK network and the company’s wider 68,000 vehicle fleet internationally.
