ZIM announces the comeback of its AEX2 liner service

Shipping companies ZIM, Evergreen Line and CSCL to resume their Asia Europe Express Service (AEX2)
 
In view of the increasing demand for transport capacities and recovering freight rates in the trade, the container shipping companies ZIM, Evergreen Line and CSCL decided to resume the liner service Asia Europe Express Service (AEX 2). The service was temporarily ceased last autumn. Effective now, the service offers weekly departures.
 
ZIM, Evergreen Line and China’s CSCL operate the Asia Europe Express Service (AEX2) using 8,000-TEU to 8,500-TEU vessels from May. The service links the main ports in Asia and in Northern Europe. The port rotation is as follows: Qingdao – Ningbo -Shanghai – Xiamen – Yantian – Tanjung Pelepas – Port Klang – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Antwerp – Tanjung Pelepas – Qingdao.
