Convoi attends to relocation project of Berlin Brandenburg Airport

Convoi GmbH moves about 11,500 m³ goods from Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schönefeld to the Berlin Brandenburg Airport

Convoi GmbH carries out one of the biggest and most complicated moves in 2012 in Germany. The Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH entrusted the company with the relocation of the airports Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schönefeld to the newly built airport Berlin Brandenburg.

“Following a thoroughly investigation of the requirements to fulfil the European invitation to tender, we were awarded the order for the most prestigious moving project in Germany this year. We are enabled to fully relocate complete enterprises“, explains Thomas Wolf, managing director Convoi GmbH.

Account Manager Reinold Hofsink of Convoi: „The complexity lies in the combination. Apart from offices, furniture and computers, the new site will also join repair workshops and warehouses. That means integration and relocation of throusands of aircarft spare parts and tools has to happen at the same time. More than 11,500 m³ of cargo will change its location, which is about 460 truck loads. Also 4,000 offices will be packed and moved to the new site."
