18 per cent more air cargo transported with Etihad Cargo in 2012

Cargo division of the Arab airline Etihad Airways is to put into service three new freighters in 2013
 
Etihad Cargo, the air freight division of the Arab airline Etihad Airways, is looking back on a successful year 2012. They transported 365,000 tonnes of air freight, which is 18 per cent more than in the previous year. In 2013 the company will take over three new freight aircraft, as they announce in a press release. This means one Airbus A330F and two Boeing 777F will join the fleet.
 
Etihad Cargo based in Abu Dhabi calls a total of 87 destinations worldwide and operates currently six freighters (one Airbus A300-600F, two Airbus A330-200F, one McDonnell Douglas MD-11F, one Boeing B777F and one Boeing B747-400F). The parent company Etihad Airways is the nationale air freight enterprise of the United Arab Emirates.
