Cooperation of active logistics and inet-logistics
active logistics and intet-logistics form a German-Austrian partnership int he segment of IT solutions for logistics applications
active logistics (Herdecke) and inet-logistics (Wolfurt) announced their cooperation in the development of IT solutions for logistics appliances. The target of this alliance is to stimulate both companies by the strengths of each other: active logistics has a longstanding IT experience in the field of transport and warehousing management from the logistics company’s point of view in offering data centre services and depicting complex structures and processes from transport logistics. inet- logistics is well experienced in logistic functions from the shipper’s point of view, supply chain management and the development and global implementation of web-based transport management systems. Both parties exclude the development of a joint software solution. It is first and foremost about exchanging experience and know-how, which come from different market segments in both companies: active logistics e.g. serves with its solutions exclusively the market of logistics and transport companies; in this market segment there are 350 customers. Oswald Werle, managing director of inet- logistics: „The strength of inet-logistics is its longstanding experience in the development and operation of software-as-a-service solutions (SaaS) to support transport logistics processes and meet supply chain requirements for customers from industry, trade and logistics.
