AEO-certificate for Dachser Austria Air & Sea
Being one of the biggest transportation and logistics enterprises, the internationally acting logistics service provider Dachser in Austria was conferred the status of “AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) for air and sea transportation. In the context of the continuous securing the international delivery chain, enterprises in the European Union may now apply to be certified as AEO since January 1, 2008. The certificate conferred by the customs authority, confirms that an enterprise is a very reliable and trustworthy partner for international goods management. “The AEO-certificate emphasises on our professional and secure way we handle consignments we are entrusted with.“, Michael Rainer, General Manager of Dachser Austria Air & Sea, said. Moreover, he tells from experience: “In case of tenders, customers ask for the AEO-certificate at first.“ Dachser Austria Air & Sea employs about 60 persons at the locations in Hörsching, Feldkirchen near Graz and Vienna.
