Agility, a leading global logistics provider, has opened its fourth branch in Sarvar, Hungary. The production site was specifically designed to support Lenovo’s assembly lines (operated by Flextronics) and fulfill its print-on-demand requirements. Agility has introduced the latest high-end laser printing technology to consolidate its leading position, increase market share and maximize the effectiveness and productivity of the Sarvar operation. Currently the company delivers 600,000 keyboards annually to Lenovo on behalf of Lite-On and is planning to increase the number of shifts to reach a capacity of one million units per year.
 
An opening ceremony was held in Sarvar, where Agility had the opportunity to demonstrate its capabilities, technologies and processes to an exclusive management audience from Lite-On, Lenovo and Flextronics. Gabor Kovacs, Agility’s Country Manager, Hungary, said: “Keyboard printing has always been Agility’s strategic activity in Hungary. In an effort to help grow Lenovo’s business, it was important for us to locate our operation in close proximity to the local manufacturing site.”
