Ahlers China attends to new major project with regard to the CIS

Construction elements for power plant project in Byelorussian capital Minsk travel under the leadership of Ahlers China

The building consortium, which is in charge of the implementation of a new power plant in Byelrussia’s capital Minsk, trusts in the transport logistic expertise of Ahlers China. The Chinese subsidiary of the Belgian based logistics group was awarded a contract to organise and handle the transportations from the Far East via the Port of Klaipeda (Lithuania) to their final destination. The volume totals around 50,000 freight tons and 300 TEU containerised consignments.

Ahlers China is going to handle the project divided over 7 up to 8 shipments. Vessels of the Chipolbrok shipping company will transport steel structures, machinery and control equipment to Europe on a bimonthly basis. The first shipment of 5,188 cbm load arrived in Klaipeda recently. Onwards forwarding to the construction site in Druzhny was effected by road transport.
