Air Partner expanded its freight segment

Freight unit of charter aircraft specialist Air Charter enters into two key regions under its own name

Air Partner, a world leading provider of charter aircrafts, has expanded its freight segment to two significant regions. To develop new customer circles in the evolving markets in the Near East and Asia, they opened a location in Istanbul. A second site started operation in Hong Kong. At both stations customers can charter aircrafts of all sizes to transport freight – they range from Learjet to Antonov 225.

In cooperation with cargo experts in Great Britain, Germany, France and the United States, the branches in Hong Kong and Turkey form a dense, global network. The continuously growing customer circle is marked by governments, leading forwarders and air organisations. The Air Partner freight segment offers them solutions to transport urgently needed goods like car spare parts and for complex freight projects that take several months of planning.

Air Partner has around 250 employees in 20 offices around the globe. The group is listed at the London Stock Exchange and generated an annual turnover of EUR 215 million in the 2008/09 fiscal year. The service portfolio ranges from ad-hoc charter for business travel and private flights to incentive, event and congress travel, to the field of freight transport, private jet, management and rescue operations.
