The Angleitner corporate group, active in the segments of transport and logistics, is about to tackle a new construction project. With investments totalling to EUR 6.5 million a new logistics centre will be built in St. Martin im Innkreis. From early 2014, globally operating transport and logistics group Panalpina will be in charge of organising and handling goods receipt from Austria and abroad, warehousing, picking and delivery to individual work places in all of the four plants of the aviation supplier FACC.

On 26 June 2013 the official first turn of the sod was made for the logistics centre with a covered warehousing area of about 5,500 m². Operation shall start subsequently to a two-months test stage in early 2014. Because of the big variety of the products offered by FACC, once completed the facility will include a 2,940 m² dry goods warehouse and 1,008 m² manipulation area, as well as a 1,000 m² deep freeze zone (minus 18° C) with two separate zones for dangerous goods such as paints and varnishes of about 300 m².

Established in 1969 the Angleitner corporate group has been active in international goods traffic on the road. The company is currently operating eleven trailer trucks. As to logistics, they focus on establishing and long-term rental of customised warehousing facilities. They are currently operating facilities of 36,000 m² covered area.
