Aramex enters into German market

Germany joined global Aramex network

The express service company Aramex, based in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), integrated Germany into its global network. In Hamburg, Cologne and Frankfurt locations were opened to serve customers from the circle of independent courier services. Aramex provides them access to a global system for express services focussing on the regions Middle East, Asia and Africa.

The Arab company group employs around 6,500 persons in 304 offices. Being a leading member of the GDA Global Distribution Alliance the company, which was established in 1982, it belongs to the alliance of 40 independent express service providers with 12,000 offices and 66,000 employees around the globe.

The headquarters of the German Aramex location are situated in Hamburg. The location in Cologne hosts the Main hub that offers night-operations, while the station in Frankfurt provides connections to the hubs in Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong.
