Arcese is Panalpina Germany’s new partner for Italy
Cooperation of Arcese Trasporti and Panalpina Road Freight Germany: daily direct services and shorter transit times:
On 29 August the Italian group of companies Arcese Trasporti and Panalpina Road Freight Germany are launching their new strategic partnership for overland transport. This exclusive cooperation is improving the service offering of both enterprises, without influencing their individuality or independence.
The two networks – Arcese operates 19 locations in Italy, Panalpina has 13 branches in Germany – are boosted through this cooperation. The result will be a comprehensive service offering in the market segment for general cargo and less than full load transport, as well as improved transit times, they say in a press release. The two companies aim at handling 100,000 shipments before the end of 2012, based on daily direct services from/to Turin, Milan, Verona, Campogalliano, Prato and Treviso with a continuous track & trace.
Arcese group is headquartered in Arco, employs 4,000 staff in 19 locations and counts among the top 3 ranked logistics service providers in Italy. The enterprise operates its own fleet of 1,000 trucks.
