Christian Fürstaller and Rudolphe Schoettel intend to upgrade the company Augustin Network to a top-brand for high-quality transport logistics services in Central and Eastern Europe. The new owners (45% Christian Fürstaller, 45% Rudolphe Schoettel, 10% Rudolf Quehenberger) of the enterprise that was so far acting under the name Lkw Augustin presented their strategy concept yesterday in Salzburg. They plan to divide activities into four business units combined with a focus on the following industries: automotive, electronics, consumer goods and spare parts logistics.

The newly structured Augustin Network renders services in the fields of transport (Augustin Freight), forwarding (Augustin Forwarding), contract logistics (Augustin Solutions) and Ttruck Rent Service. The network of the corporate group comprises 13 locations in 6 countries. The fleet consists of 640 units. By the end of this year a new logistics facility offering a 10,000 sq. m. warehouse is to be opened in Eberstalzell in Upper Austria. Last year Augustin Network generated a turnover of around EUR 190 million with 1,000 employees.
